The Arran Project is a Social Enterprise Project run by the members of Enactus GCU who are committed to changing lives one at a time.

Enactus stands for Entrepreneurial Action for Us. We are taking opportunities to strengthen our communities by using our business minds and philanthropist hearts to create a sustainable way to alleviate loneliness on the Island of Arran.

So far, the Arran Project has worked with the students of Arran High School who have developed their own Enactus society at the High School! We will support the Arran Enactus Team to identify the problem areas in their community and positively contribute to changing these areas for the better through the use of entrepreneurial action and sustainable ideas.

Mixing age groups in social situations has already proven to be a success in battling mental health problems so we want to use this theory to maximise the impact of the project.


The project is still in it's early stages and there is still work to be done to ensure we are doing as much as we can to develop and improve our entrepreneurial strategy and project impact!
